What Is The Fund Raiser In Aid Of?

We all know what a massive difference a Guide Dog can make to the life of a blind or partially sighted person, and with that in mind we are very pleased that Jade our very own "Queen of Craft" has oraganised a bake sale to raise money for the fantastic organisation Guide Dogs for The Blind.

When's The Event Taking Place?

The fund raising event will take place this coming Bank Holiday Weekend on Sunday 7th May at Ben's Tap and Bottle Shop, 2 Market Place, Chorley PR7 1DA from 12pm. As well as a bake sale there will be other fun activities such as guess the name of the dog, just £1 a go to win a hamper and guess how many doggy treats in the jar, £1 a go to win the jar for your favourite pooch!

Can I Help?

Yes! Donations of baked sweet or savoury goods for the bake sale would be greatly appreciated. If baking isn't your thing, you will be showing your support by coming along and participating in the various activities. Jade has set a goal to raise £500 so the more people can help with that the better. There is of course the added advantage of it being held at Ben's Tap and Bottleshop, so alongside your cake or scone you can enjoy a refreshing pint of cask ale brewed by Ben's Brewery, or sample one of the Guest Ales. If cask ales aren't your thing we have a large variety of offerings on keg including cider, lagers and sours as well as 5 Real Ciders and plenty of Wines, Spirits and soft drinks, not forgetting water bowls for our four legged friends. So come along down, bring the kids with you, and of course don't forget your dogs!
